Dexter Farm to School was recognized by the folks at the Edible Schoolyard as a Featured Program on their website. The Edible Schoolyard began as a collaboration between teachers and administration at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School in Berkeley, CA and Alice Waters founder and owner of Chez Panisse Restaurant.
Since that time, The Edible School Yard has become a leader for the edible education movement and broadened its reach to include professional development trainings, an online community network of edible educators and programs, and edible curriculum to support the students and future of the movement.
